Effective April 2025, Microsoft has added Windows 10 Extended Security Update<\/a> (ESU) Cloud Managed licenses<\/strong> to the Product Terms. These licenses are aimed at organizations managing updates using Microsoft Intune or Windows Autopatch<\/a><\/strong> and will be offered at a 25% discount<\/strong> from the regular ESUs.<\/p>\n

What are Windows 10 ESU Cloud Managed licenses?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Windows 10 will retire on October 14, 2025<\/strong>: https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/lifecycle\/end-of-support\/end-of-support-2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Windows 10 Extended Security Update (ESU) Cloud Managed licenses<\/strong> provide critical and important security updates for Windows 10 PCs beyond this end of support date<\/strong>. These updates are essential for organizations that need extra time to transition to newer versions<\/strong> of Windows or to manage legacy applications that are not yet compatible with Windows 11.<\/p>\n
