Microsoft has delayed the mandatory switch of the license management of Dynamics 365 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications in Microsoft 365 Admin Center<\/a> to November 1, 2025, instead of the previously announced August 30, 2025<\/strong>. This gives organizations one more month for the transition to Microsoft 365 Admin Center.<\/p>\n

Also, there is a new 12-month grace period<\/strong> from these changes for customers renewing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations licenses between now and September 30, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Starting April 30, 2025<\/strong>, enhanced license reporting<\/strong> will be available in the Power Platform Admin Center<\/strong>, showing license usage across all security roles (find more below). Users who do not meet license requirements will receive in-app notifications within the Dynamics 365 application, prompting them to request proper licensing from their administrator.<\/p>\n
