Effective July 15, 2024<\/strong>, Adobe will no longer sell Acrobat Standard<\/a> 2020<\/strong> and Acrobat Pro 2020<\/strong> licenses in the Transactional License Program (TLP<\/strong>) and Cumulative Licensing Program (CLP<\/strong>) buying programs. Adobe will continue to offer subscription versions of Acrobat<\/strong> in the Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP<\/strong>) and Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA<\/strong>) buying programs.<\/p>\n

The last date for placing orders<\/strong> for Acrobat perpetual<\/strong> license products in TLP<\/strong> and CLP<\/strong> will be July 15, 2024<\/strong>. Note also that Acrobat 2020 reaches End of Support in June 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Who is impacted?<\/h2>\n

Customers and channel partners looking to place orders of a perpetual version of Acrobat will be impacted by this end of sale date. Any customers with completed purchases of Acrobat perpetual software by the end of sale date will continue to have access<\/strong> to their existing software per the terms of their agreement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Will there be a new version of Acrobat perpetual?<\/h2>\n

There will not<\/em> be a new version of Acrobat perpetual beyond Acrobat 2020<\/strong>. However, customers looking for a desktop-only, non-subscription version of Acrobat will have the option to purchase a term license of Acrobat<\/strong>, named Acrobat Classic, starting on July 15, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Acrobat Classic<\/strong> is a term license of desktop software that provides up to three years of paid access to Acrobat software<\/strong> and is available as a one-time, non-recurring purchase<\/strong>. Acrobat Classic does not include<\/strong> ongoing Acrobat product feature enhancements or access<\/strong> to premium Adobe Document Cloud services via web browser<\/strong> or mobile devices.<\/strong><\/p>\n
